My Extreme Pro HD SD card says full on the camera, but says it's empty on the computer?

When I put it in my Canon 60D, it says card full on the screen, but when i go to review what's on the card, it says "no image". I put it in my computer and it also has nothing on it. I will say that I had dumped footage from the card onto my computer and deleted the files from the card on the computer instead of deleting them when they're in the camera.

Update:

I deleted the MOV files, you obviously don't understand what's going on. If I deleted the movie files from the card, on the computer, it should be empty when I put it in the camera, correct? No, it says card full, which doesn't make any sense.

Update 2:

I DID NOT deleted the files it originally had on the SD card, only the MOV files I just shot.

Sounds like the card has become corrupted. Are you using a Mac? Sometimes this happens on Macs, especially if you use the computer to delete your files instead of the camera. You should only delete files using the camera. Also you should only format the card using the camera's format feature.

Am assuming that you wish to recover some of your files. If so, you'll need to use recovery software. Here's a listing of freeware that you can try:

AFTER you've recovered your files, and backed them up onto your computer, format the card IN YOUR CAMERA using the camera's format feature to rejuvenate the card for future use.

That's true, you don't understand. You do not delete files from these cards... just don't.

After every shooting day here's the proper work flow: Shoot / Upload / Format the card in the camera... not in the computer, in the camera.

Never delete files from a memory card... always format instead. Never use a memory card as a storage device - that's what a computer's hard drive is for.

Now go buy a new SD HC 8gb / class 10 and shoot again. Then follow the above instructions unless you want to keep buying cards over and over.
