About a boy. Starts out in live action then goes to cartoon. Kings are having a disagreement, and in the end they agree to disagree. Has funny characters like that of the Beatles cartoons.pointy headed people, etc.

Sounds like a movie based on a Jules Fieffer kid's book, "The Phantom Toolbooth". another animated movie with people with pointy heads would be "The Point" , actually an old TV animated special.
