Is it possible to add an engine block heater to a car's engine?
I have a 2002 Chevrolet Impala sedan - a former police car - with a 3800 V6 engine. Would it be possible to add an engine block heater? There's nothing like having to suffer in the winter, and I'd like to minimize that.

Unless that car is from Cal. it should already have one. Start looking for the cord.

Yes.
There are several different kinds, some go in one of the radiator hoses, others are magnetic and can be put on the oil pan, the kinds that come factory installed usually replace one of the freeze plugs.
