Any suggestions for good novels (fantasy or fiction) that take place in the Chinese Empire?

I've just finished reading the two Kingdom of Xia by Cindy Pon and I really enjoyed the infusion of the ancient Chinese empire intertwining with myths, legends and the authors imagination.

http://cindypon.com/silver-phoenix/ - a link to the first novel for an idea of what I'm talking about. They are young adult, but I'm all growed up, so YA or just normal ages will do.

If you are a fan of fantasy, I highly recommend this series! Thanks fo your input.

I simply MUST recommend the book, "Eon". I forget the author's name but oh man was this book good! It's set in a fantasy world modeled after ancient China and Japan and combines the culture with myths and legends. (namely dragons and the Chinese calendar). Not only is the story and setting fantastic but the writing is simply awesome. I felt as if I could taste the air almost.

I may be exaggerating a bit but I really loved this book and I think you will too. :)
