I have taken crestor for about 4 years. I had blood work last week and my total cholesterol was 130. Limits are 135-200. Hdl in limits and Ldl also low at 59 Limits 85-100. Is this something to be concerned about.
Thanks nurse 52 for taking the time to answer my question. I will talk to my doctor.

Keep LDL cholesterol below 100 mg/dL (2.6 mmol/L) — or below 70 mg/dL (1.8 mmol/L) if you're at very high risk of heart disease.
Although the risks are rare, low levels of LDL cholesterol may increase your risk of:
Cancer
Depression
Anxiety
I think you would be alright. Talk with your doc
Take care

total cholesterol? 124 is fine. you want Total Cholesterol it less than 200. HDL (good cholesterol) you want above 40 for men, 50 for women. LDL (bad cholesterol) you want less than 160 if you don't have any other health conditions. "too low" cholesterol really hasn't been defined, but 124 is nothing at all to worry about for total cholesterol
