Hmmm, ..., I'm not sure what to tell you. The following works on my PC: http://apod.nasa.gov/apod/astropix.html

Also, www.raleighastro.org accesses APOD via the same link and it works for that site as well. If the link, I gave you doesn't work try going to the www.raleighastro.org website and look at the APOD picture on the far right of the page. It should have an APOD picture in it. If that's not working then somehow that link has been blocked your PC, home firewall, or by your internet provider.

    --- Edit ---

Yeah, for some reason your access has been blocked. let me know what it is. Like Geoff said, that's such a neutral site I don't know why it would be blocked.

It's working OK for me. Sometimes internet providers will block a particular site because someone has complained about it, but it's hard to see why that would happen to APOD.

On my Mac I run a neat app called AutoAPOD, which loads the APOD in as my desktop picture every morning when I boot up the computer. This morning it loaded in Planet Lovejoy: a 360° image of the sky taken on December 30 showing Comet Lovejoy. Sorry, I guess it's mean to tell you what you're missing!

Clear skies from another old meanie!

    Works OK for me

It works fine with me using Google Chrome.

    "Little Planet Lovejoy"

This is just a guess, but since the picture is interactive today, it might mean that Java script should be on. Check your browser that you have Java script turned on.

Peter's link worked for me. Don't have any idea what the problem might be.
