counselling for 14 year because of a car accidents?
I am 14 year old and just before xmas me and my mum was in a bad accident, now when I go in the car with my mum i get scared and nervous. So i told my nana about me geting nervous and she said speek to some one at school, so i did and my school said i need to get a life it was not my mums fault. I thing i need counselling but my mum and dad don't want me to.

Go to your doctor. You don't need to go with your mum or dad, just book an appointment and go have a chat with them. If they think you do need counselling, then they will refer you. If you are in the UK, the NHS will pay for this, as long as it is your doctor who refers you.
I was in a bad car accident with my dad when I was 16 and I had around 7 hours of counselling before I felt better about being in a car - now I'm fine and enjoy driving and taking part in road trips.

What an awful thing for the school to say. However, the school was the wrong place to go. Have you considered that you parents might not have the money for counselling? They 'don't want you to' and 'can't pay the fees' are different matters. Talk to your parents again taking their views into account.

regardless of what people say, trauma is perceived differently by different people, there is no harm in speaking with someone about it.
