Let's role-play, hockey style?

Your an NHL player who has played 2 years, both for the team that drafted you. The team you played for is a team you grew up feeling neutral about.

You are now a free agent.

You have a few offers on the table. Which do you accept?

The defending Stanley Cup champion offers you $1.75

The team you played 2 years for offers you $2 Million

The team you grew up cheering for offers you $2 Million

The team you hated the most while growing up offers you $2.5 Million

A random team in Europe offers you $3 Million

(All per year)

Which offer would you accept and why?

Update:

Quack: Whatever, forget the little details :P

Hmm...Well obviously playing for the Pens would be a childhood dream of mine, so that helps excel the decision. However, I'm sure I'll have a soft spot for the team that drafted me, even if they were a rival. Also I'd know the players around me and everything, so it wouldn't be a culture shock.

    I think I'd go Option 3 still.

The team you grew up cheering for offers you $2 Million or The defending Stanley Cup champion offers you $1.75 and if i really need the money (debt or some crazy circumstance) then A random team in Europe offers you $3 Million

Option 3: Go to the team I grew up cheering for $2 million.I would be like 20 years old(assuming I get drafted at the age of 18).I'm young, and I have time to win a Stanley Cup.I don't have to win one right away.I would sign a 7 year deal with them. If I don't win a Stanley Cup within that time, then I would go to a team that has a better shot at winning it.

Stay loyal to your team, as long as they're giving me the money I should be getting, and im getting playing time I would stay loyal to my original team

Toughie! If I had been in a teams organization and had grown close to the players, why would I want to abandon them? Yes, I'd be fulfilling my childhood dream but, "the grass always looks greener on the other side". No way in hell I'd play for the Pens or Flyers, and no, I don't want my steering wheel on the right.

Wouldn't I be an RFA? Meaning I'm unlikely to move? :P

I go option 3. Probably wouldn't play much for 1, and unless 2 is a really hockey-crazy city, I'd rather go to the place I love.

    Option 3.

I'd definitely go to the Sabres, no matter how bad they are right now.

EDIT: Forgot to add why. It is because your first hockey dream was to win the Stanley Cup for your favorite team. Wouldn't you want to live that goal out?!

I'd play for Vancouver (my team) I would choose them because I've always dreamed of playing for the Canucks. I don't care if I get 5 minutes of ice time. I would love it
