I got terrible customer service from AT&T DSL service, who can I call or send an e-mail to?

I got an offer for DSL service from AT&T for one year at $14.99 a month total charges. I accepted the offer, installed the kit and now they want to bill me $24.99/mo. saying " oh, we forget to tell you about the equipment charge for an extra $10 per month" When I called to get the bill straightened out, I was transferred 3 times, put on hold for an HOUR AND 26 MINUTES THEN SOMEBODY IN INDIA HUNG UP ON ME. I just want to talk to someone who has the authority to straighten this out.

    I dont know what number(s) you have called but i used to work in IT in a AT&T call center. if you want to try and call them the number is 1-800-288-2020 they handle all kinds of questions and they are located in El Paso, TX. So you will speak to an American. Nothing against India or any other nation but sometimes we all need a friendly voice. Hope that helps.
