Does my bf still love me?
Hi,
My boyfriend has gone travelling, and we have been going out for over a year, and we have been open about the fact that we love each other for most of that. He has gone travelling, and first few days we were messaging and he was replying I love you. It's now been about 3 weeks, and he seems to be avoiding saying those three words. Instead he will say bye or sleep well/sweet dreams... Or even lots of love once on the phone... But no actual I love you. Today he has left the place with wifi so we messaged our goodbyes, I said I love you, he replies send my love to everyone and my family- I then said I'd noticed you've been avoiding replying that you love me, I dont understand why though... He then started typing, but didn't reply and left... But he had read it...
I then felt incredibly sick, nauseous, cold chill, shaking, headache, basically, I love him very much, but am so worried about what this means... At the same time he is saying that he misses me so much...

ima guy and i did the same thing to another girl the reason was at first i did like her ALOT but she started to become wierd and awkward or wld say the wrong thing at the wrong time n it was a COMPLETE turn off then she became creepy ans stalkerish and wldnt give me room or leave me alone and was always trying to be nxt to me and now i accually cnt look at her just bc of tht bad taste it left me i cnt even look at her anymore withoout getting madd

I really feel bad about saying this and don't want to worry you but...it's possible he could be cheating if he's avoiding saying I love you...it doesn't necessarily mean he doesn't love you but he might feel too guilty to say it if he's been sneaking around behind your back. You need to confront him about it. Relationships are about being honest with eachother even when it's hard.

Yea, it sounds weird that he used to say "I love you" with no hesitation and now he completely avoids it. Something is definitely going on. Don't jump to any conclusions thou, just wait for him to reply to you. Its not the end of the world, you will get through this.

It sounds like he has something that he needs to say to you but needs to say it in person. I think you should wait it out, let him say it in his own time. If you keep pushing then you will end up hurting yourself and him.
