Who can you contact at AT&T for bad service?

I got an offer for DSL service from AT&T for one year at $14.99 a month total charges. I accepted the offer, installed the kit and now they want to bill me $24.99/mo. saying " oh, we forget to tell you about the equipment charge for an extra $10 per month" When I called to get the bill straightened out, I was transferred 3 times, put on hold for an HOUR AND 26 MINUTES THEN SOMEBODY IN INDIA HUNG UP ON ME. I just want to talk to someone who has the authority to straighten this out.

    Care to tell what state you are in? The best recourse is to complain to your state utility commission. All providers MUST respond to complaints.

    Did you not purchase or get the modem and wireless router for free ?

    For DSL or Cable Internet service you have to have a modem and router if you want to set up a wireless network or just a modem if setting up a wired network.

    When I signed up some time ago for DSL Internet Service with AT&T they included a modem and the installation kit and support but I purchase a wireless router and set up a wireless network later.

    DON'T SUBSCRIBE TO SHITTY SERVICES LIKE AT&T FOR INTERNET!

    Get Comcast.
