Just bought 1999 Saxo 1.4
Central Locking works as it should on the Key No Problems
Have changed batteries in remote fob as red light did not show when button pressed,
Red light on fob now working.
How do I rematch it to the car

I can assure you it is in the owners manual.
Lock the drivers door with the key, unlock the drivers door with the key. within 30 seconds, press the lock button on the keyfob. press the lock button again and the doors should lock if they haven't already locked on the first press.
I think it's about page 55-65 somewhere in that region. Not the first couple of pages because that's just a "glance" if my memory serves me correctly.

Hello
I had one like that. It turned out to be the sensor. If you sit in the car a look at the interior light there is a smoked plastic cover beside it. Point the remote at it and try pushing the button. If it works you need to remove that cover and resit the sensor. It is Infer red (line of sight) not radio linked. If the sensor is pushed up it does not get the signal.
