math question i need help in?

train A & train B are traveling from NYC to Washigton DC.. Train A is traveling 15 MPH faster then train B and gets there in 4 hours.. Train B gets there in 8 hours.. How far away is Washigton DC? ..

    speed B = distance / 8

    speed A = distance / 4

    speed A - speed B = 15

    ......................................

    (distance / 4) - (distance / 8) =15

    (2distance - distance) / 8 =15

    distance = 15*8 = 120 miles

    4(x + 15) = 8x

    4x + 60 = 8x

    60 = 4x

    15 mph = x

    d = rt

    d = 15(4) = 60 mi
