Has anyone ever refused to serve you an alcoholic beverage because your ID was expired?

I mean it's still me & I in no way look to be under 21!

California Law states that you must be able to produce a legal/ valid form of identification, when it's requested of you at all times, and to be a valid from of identification, in the eyes of the law, it can't be expired

I've been the one checking ID's, and by law if we find out you don't have one on your person, we are not suppose to serve or sell you alcohol, I only instilled that rule when the customer was drunk and belligerent and or causing a disturbance.:)

when I was on your shores I had to show my passport for some beer, my brother's GF had helped me carry it to the till and 'cause she didnt have her passport the beatch wouldnt serve me. I had to walk effing miles to the next place and late at night too. I wasnt even asked for ID over here when I was 14 and getting served in the friggin pubs.

am I ranting a bit now?.......I get angry when Im refused beer and the memories are flooding back

I tried to buy cigarettes for my wife (I don't smoke) at a 7-11 last Summer (I'm 48) and the teenaged girl behind the counter asked me for ID... didn't have it on me so I couldn't buy them !
