Not Enough Killing Machines for Conservatives?
Virginia repealed a one-per-month limit on HANDGUN purchases on Tuesday, less than five years after a mentally-deranged student used handguns to massacre 32 people at Virginia Tech University in the worst single act of gun violence in U.S. history.
Republican Governor Bob McDonnell, who is high on the list of possible 2012 vice presidential candidates, signed the controversial legislation into law.
The limit had been on the books since 1993, when it was enacted in an effort to curb gun-smuggling operations. Virginia had a reputation as a state where gunrunners could arrange to purchase a volume of guns to sell on the streets of cities such as Washington, D.C. and New York.
One hopes that there will come a day when these actions will be considered historically criminal like slavery, child molestation and not disinfecting before delivery babies. Now it is just the everyday normal, thoughtless, Conservative mentality. More killing machines on the streets, just build more prisons, right?

The solution is to make it harder for people with a background of mental disability to buy guns, not to limit the number of guns a law abiding citizen can purchase. Liberal gun control policies have been tried in places like Chicago and Washington DC, they backfired horribly and violent crime escalated. In Chicago alone the murder rate went up 300% for the two years the ban was in place. Today the crime rate has returned to normal levels after the ban has been lifted. Now it's true correlation is not causation, but at the same time it's a little suspicious that DC and Chicago had huge spikes in violent crime during the period that the gun bans were in place don't you think?

Bad as i hate the hand gun violence, now not the time to disarm with Muslim wanting to kill Christan's and Jews. I'm not a Republican but a Democrat. it would B nice it long guns were all that sold, that way we could see a killer coming.But we need Guns for Protection and even snakes, I live in West Virgina, I shot two snakes last year cutting grass in my yard.
