How long should a dogwalker stay out in bad weather?

Dogwalkers usually exercise your pup for a standard of one hour. But in severe weather, they usually shorten, depending on the particular day and the dog. How much would you suggest they keep your dog out in rain, snow, sleet, etc?

Update:

I also should have added that you would be paying for the full hour, and the walker would make up for the lost time another day.

As a dog owner I expect the dog walker to walk my dog rain or shine for the entire time alotted.

The only time I would settle for less is when te weather is too cold for my dog or myself to be out in. I know the limits of my dogs. For example in very cold rainy or snowy weather my dog would not do well outside for a whole hour so I would let you know that. However my motto is: if I can do it, you can do it.

If I'm paying for a full hour, then I expect my dog to get a full hour regardless of the weather. Now, if there was a discount because the walk was shortened due to the weather, then that's another story.

No, I would not accept a walker to make up the time another day. Who would be there to say that she did?

Maybe half the time if the dog isn't good in cold climates. But if it's a hardier breed then it should probably be the full amount unless it's a complete blizzard.

[ ADD ] Well as long as he/she makes up the lost time. If the dog seems to have a lot of extra energy ask for him/her to keep the dog out longer if possible.

I walk my own dog until she's performed in bad weather, even though I have a full length wax cotton riding coat, wax hat and Aigle wellies. (I look like a female Clint Eastwood).

In good weather we do a circuit which is about two miles round.

Me and my dog will be sitting in front of the fire if the weather is severe

15-20 minutes. Maybe 30, depends on how bad it is
