I'm 58 and my Husband is 64 and a veteran in a nursing home so I am going to answer. No, I can't even go there, I am sorry. I absolutely hate The Godfather. Where are all the 007 movies? Where is Dirty Harry? What about Major League? Or Braveheart. I would rather watch all of Elvis' Movies as Musicals over those listed. My Dad liked Singing in the Rain. I did not. I don't like Campy Movies. I don't see one single comedy and there are too many to list. Oh well.

I also hated the Godfather and while Schindler's List was good, I don't understand why it should be on this list, but then, I don't make movies. I agree that there should be more comedy, although I consider Singin' in the Rain a comedy. I never saw Raging Bull and have no interest in seeing it.

Here are my choices for the top 20, but I can't claim that they are in order and I don't think I could pick a top 10 out of them.

    1. Gone with the Wind

    2. My Fair Lady

    3. Pulp Fiction

    4. Monster in a Box (Spalding Gray)

    5. Swimming to Cambodia (Spalding Gray)

    6. True Stories (David Byrne and John Goodman among others)

    7. The Lion in Winter

    8. The Ruling Class

    9. To Catch a Thief (Hitchcock, Cary Grant & Grace Kelly)

    10. Lawrence of Arabia

    11. The Wizard of Oz

    12. Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Sex But Were Afraid to Ask

    13. When Harry Met Sally

    14. This is Spinal Tap (Rob Reiner)

    15. Funny Girl

    16. Dune

    17. French Kiss

    18. The Marriage of Maria Braun (Fassbinder)

    19. Star Wars

    20. The Rocky Horror Picture Show
