Poll: Engagement and Wedding Rings?
Can you just buy the engagement ring and use it as a wedding ring? I see some women wear a double band (Engage/Wedding). Others just a single band. What is the proper etiquette. And NO I am not in the market. Just curious.

society says engagement ring for her, then she gets the wedding ring, which you meld to the engagement ring. he only gets a wedding ring.
but I think it's all kinda stupid. you can't use the engagement ring as a wedding ring if she's been wearing it on her finger. but who's to say you need an engagement ring at all?

You can do what ever you want to do. There is really no problem.
In the old days there was the engagement ring then when the wedding took place
the girl got the wedding ring to go with it. Now, people want to do things their own way due to being an individual or financial problems that cause them to only have one ring.

Not every female wants an engagement ring so a Wedding ring with Diamonds would probably be a good idea.
