What are some of the easiest popular songs to play on guitar?
I literally have never picked up a guitar before but am very musical so will learn quite quickly but are there any easy songs that are also quite popular that I can play and sing along with? I'd rather soft slow songs than greenday or something but something easy to play, nice to sing and that people will like to listen to.

Taylor Swift songs are popular among most of my female students. Most of her songs are easy to play. It's a good starting point for beginners who are looking into learning full songs. I'm not trying to stereotype all female players. That's just my experience.
