Major toothache in pregnany and have to wait a long time for dental appointment?

I am currently 19 weeks pregnant and i have a major toothache. I went to the dentist and they said they can't remove the tooth causing me pain and that i have to go on a waiting list to get it done surgically. There is only one other dentist in my town that they said could do it and the waiting is up to 8 weeks or more.

I need something done immediately and it looks like i cant get anything done for at least 8 weeks!

What sort of impact is this going to have on my baby? I'm terrified of the stress it could cause my baby and im destraught that there is nothing that can be done for me. I dont know what to do?

I don't think that it's anything to worry about. Maybe if you just relax and don't worry so much then your baby will be fine:)

As long as it's not infected I don't think physically it's going to do much harm. Talk to your dentist or OB about pain management, a lot of pain medications are considered safe in pregnancy.
