I saw the video of the interview... She actually looked shocked when the reporter asked her if she thought it was right for her to keep taking the food stamp money.

If it wasn't so disgusting, it would be laughable.. But this woman should be the poster child for today's entitlement mentality.

This woman doesn't understand the difference between having assets (the million dollars in winnings) with having income. Does a trust-fund baby qualify for foodstamps then too?

And the TAXES, that the govt will take on that $1,000,000 windfall, in more ways than one, will more than make up for any amount of money she received, right?

Lottery winners are lucky to get HALF , after taxes.

and surely some overlap occured from getting her check......to the welfare checks arriving.

I saw her "interview" with that reporter on The Five...I thought it was ridiculous when she started talking about how she has TWO houses to pay for.

Ha. Just goes to show how entitlement happy today's society is. She gets $1 million, but that still isnt enough.

What's more shocking than her is the system that allows her to keep collecting. Let's face it, there will always be many like her, but as long as the government does nothing about it, we will always have the problem.
