Tips for asking a girl out?

So i have decided to ask a girl out to the movies (The woman in black), and to be honest, i don't realy feel as nervous as i thought i would be. But yet i am still incredible nervous, and i would like to hear if anyone had a couple of tips for asking a girl out. We don't go in the same school, but we know eachother from our swimming team. We haven't realy spoken much to eachother, so i'm afraid it would be awkward if i suddenly asked her out. I'm 15 and shes 16 btw.

Update:

And before anyone says it, i will be askin her out face to face.

Update 2:

@Nessa We have talked a couple of times over FB and face to face :)

Just be forward about it and ask her if she would like to hang out with you some time and if she says yes just say you up for the cinema?

I think before you ask her out, talk to her a little bit to get to know eachother better because I am a girl and I would think it's strange if a guy that I don't even really talk to asked me out. So try talking to her, call her if you have her number and chat with her on Facebook and talk to her face to face if you can. Then ask her out. I think the chance of her saying yes will increase because she will know that you're a nice guy to talk to and she will know you better.

I suggest you talk to her a little more as a friend before you ask her out. I wouldnt go out with some guy who I barley know.

Tell her you want to get to know her better. Then Ask her what she is doing on a certain day. Then ask her if she wants to see a movie with you.

You just need to jump straight in to it. You will be relieved once it's over with but extremely nervous beforehand. Good luck :)
