Hair dye effecting babies hair color?

I know someone who had twins when she was younger, her hair was brown at the time and her twins have brown hair.

After she had those babies she has dyed her hair blonde all the time, you would never know her hair was naturally brown because it has been blonde ever since.

About 8 or so years after she had her babies she had another child and he is a full blown red head. It's the same father and as far as i know they both have brown hair.

Can hair dye effect the child's hair color?

The only thing that affects the childs hair colour is genes, red is recessive so you can carry the red gene and have brown hair then pass the red onto your child. My partner and myself have black and brown hair and we have 2 children with red hair one with brown and one with black. I'm not and never have been in the habit of colouring my hair.
