why does the "spell check" have so many errors?

Like - I get a spell check pop here (X) for 8 misspellings (X) 11 now

second part - - I select the option "ignore" but it will continue to ignore me

NO where did I see it (yahoo) say "use proper punctuation"

Yes I KNOW ( - ) and ( - - ) require a period or a new paragraph

BUT I think I make my point better today when "u", "U" = you & "r" "R" =are - etc

So when " Hmm...it looks like you have a lot of punctuation" and it reminds me of the Sister reprimanding me of how awful my penmanship was (1948)- with ink and quill was back then - - I have to ignore her off to my right - - (stupid box after I close it - comes back ) stupid - stupid > > > > !

P.S. - I have no problem with the childish print here

I do with the college educated application program writers who do not review their work

Oh, for pity's sake, it's just a glitch! Sometimes, I think it checks my English answers with a German or Russian spellchecker. Really, it's a glitch. Ignore it. Use a good spellchecker and just ignore the Y!A one.

When it tells me I am using a lot of punctuation, I simply tell it (no, it can't hear me and I don't care) that every single piece of it is used correctly. Yes, sometimes we simply have to acknowledge that we are dealing with artificial intelligence here. Laugh at it and move on.

Source(s): I did not learn with ink and quill. We had progressed to ballpoints by the time I hit school (kindergarten, 1967) but we still got taught standards.

It's been driving EVERYONE crazy for MONTHS on YA. If you really have computer programming experience, offer your services to Yahoo Inc.

Just use a web spell checker like the one Google has, but don't add misspelled words accidentally to the dictionary on YOUR hard drive like I have over more than a year. lol!!!

Uh, Too much punctuation box is a DEFAULT DISPLAY once your answer has enough character spaces. DUHHH!!!!!! WHO is being stupid here - the Yahoo computer network, OR YOU? Another troll hanging himself on his won petards of stupidity and arrogance.....

nicely, i trust that people have an urge to respond to as quickly as plausible and commit those kinds of blunders for the actual shown truth that they prefer their solutions to be the first ones (otherwise, it is going to likely be like my answer right here... definite, i'm down right here!! on the bottom!) I merely do not care the position is my answer, i desire to help people in effortless words (so as that once i want you, you'll help me back). i imagine that lets criticize others spelling, esp., at the same time as they are helping out with homework! i recognize our good contributor's (Profuy) anwers, yet in certain circumstances she misses many of the Spanish accents. guy, she's the best contributor in languages! (nonetheless, she rocks!) i recognize the languages section!!
