So i was asking this girl if she should anything in the saturday (i wanted to ask her to the movies), and she said "I have to go to a dinner that day. Write to me".
Were she just letting me down easy, or should i write to her?

You shd definitely write to her, if she really wants to let you down , she won't be saying that to you but simply she is not avaliable. Don't worry to much, write, show your feelings, don't let yourself regrets. Good luck.

You should write to her, whatever that means. And for future reference it's "Was this girl..." Not "Were this girl"
