Ford mechanics: power window motor on '91 Topaz/Tempo?

The power window motor is failing to activate the window. The motor runs and after removing the door panel, it's obvious the gear on the motor is stripped. My question is, is the gear replaceable or is Ford going to want to sell me the whole motor? Thanks.

The thing that I like is, being able to get replacement parts without buying the "Whole Assembly"

This is where (SOME) of Dorman products shine!

Just hit the "Where to buy" button at the top of the item and you can find it at a local wholesale retailer!

NOTE: I remember doing a lot of these back in the 90's (We used to fix the broken plastic with ball bearings)Lol

i think of it rather is cable pushed window not kit pushed the motor wont pop out from the that one. If i'm incorrect and its kit. then its binding. i'm pritty specific that the motor sits right into a metallic case that runs a cable.
