Is it ok to work out the triceps one day and biceps the very next day?
i mean even thought they're two different parts, i feel like working the tricep one day can sore out the whole arm itself. or is it totally fine?

some joints in the arm might be 'worked' by both, but other than that there's absolutely no problem with it. Some people even do 'supersets' where they hit both simultaniously, eg. 20 curls, 20 tri-curls, back to back. Best to do tris on your push day(with the benching and stuff), and bis on your pull day. (with the deadlifts, rows, chinups etc)

Keep the arm together, it's all connected.
