What do you expect out of the Blue Jays this season?
They've looked really good in Spring Training and have a solid team.
However, they are in the tough AL East.
What do you expect out of them? What do you think their record will be?

I think they will have a great April (pretty easy schedule). If they can build from that they can have a solid season. I predict 85-77, which would probably be 4th in the AL East. However, while I "expect" the Blue Jays to finish 4th, I know they are capable of winning 87-90 games, to maybe come in third or challenge for a wildcard. I don't want to get my hopes up (the Leafs justkilled my soul this season) but of all the recent years of Blue Jays baseball, this team looks like it can surprise a few and finish better than expected. Players like Snider and Drabek need to step of their game though. Drabek, I don't think will make th team out of spring training, but it's okay, let him improve in the minors. Snider I think will beat out Thames for the LF job so he has to starting being that highly touted prospect we all thought he was. Morrow, I expect a bounce back campaign. Rebuilt bullpen should decrease the amoutn of blown saves, they were atrocious last year. Lastly Lind, barring injury, should hit as he did in the first half of last season. I was really impressed with him but his back injuries effected him. If he has another bad season, AA has to ship him out. They need better numbers from the 1B position.

Jays will beat Boston for third spot. I say they win 87 games and battle for the second wildcard with Texas
