If you get pepper-burned from handling raw hot peppers you can rub it on your hands to take the heat off. Also warm it in a spoon with a lighter, and put the warm (not hot) oil in a ear that is aching.

Sometimes I put drops of warm olive oil in the cat's ears to kill ear mites she might get when she goes outside.

You can rub on face as a good moisturiser (also coconut oil).
Make a face scrub with oil, lemon juice and sea salt, rub into face, leave for half and hour and then steam face with a face washer placed into boiling water and rung out using gloves - slowly and carefully, so as not to burn. Divine!!
You could also run these into your hands, pull on cotton gloves and go to bed - in the morning wash off - lovely soft hands. Rub especially into cuticles. Same with your feet.,

After reading about it's benefits I wish I could afford to bathe in it!......I just started using an olive oil masque by Queen Anne.....bought at Sally's Beauty Supply and so far I like it! I also use the Grapeseed Peel-off masque by that brand...talk about exfoliating!

I know one that a few of you may not know is that a drop of Olive Oil on a sting takes away that awful burning sensation.
I heard about this eons ago from my grandmother who used to daub us down whenever we had a wasp sting or nettle rash so I know it actually does work.

My ex's mother used to put it on her face.
In here early 70's, she had a lovely peaches and cream complexion, with hardly any wrinkles at all - about what many 40-year olds would have, if that.
