Catholic Encyclopedia vol. 15, 448-451: "Jesus was really the son of Joseph and Mary"; and says there are theories that the Christ/virgin claims came from pagan fables and "extraordinary births of the heroes of other nations."
The encyclopedia admits that the "virgin" tale is untrue, and comes from other myths.

There's no evidence "jesus" was born at all. Until you can establish that with evidence, there's really no point speculating about the sexual activities of his supposed mother...

yes i do think that he was because if it is in the Bible and the Bible is Gods words and God does not lie i see no reason not to believe it. if God could create the universe in 6 days why couldnt his son be born of a virgin.

Mary: The...uh...God did it!
Joseph: He looks a lot like my friend Joshua...
