Is repeating your question a violation?
If you ask the same question 2 to 4 times in a row, is that in violation of the guidelines?

The official stance is ambiguous, they imply it's not a violation unless posted "excessively and in a short period of time".
Twice in a row should be okay, especially if posted in different categories. More times than that to be completely safe from a violation it would be best to wait a little while and possibly delete the previous questions before re-asking.
