Does everyone know Marco Rubio was born in the US to illegal immigrants?
Which makes him born with dual Cuban/US citizenship....AKA anchor baby. But, not a naturalized US citizen. Hence, ineligible to be VP or POTUS.
Article 2...US Constitution Natural born...At least "one" parent be a US citizen.
Arther...Speaking of facts...get yours straight..... it's the Cuban adjustment act of 1996 not 1966....LMAO!!!
pennybar....I know he's a US citizen...Not disputing that....He's just not a naturalized US citizen.

Check your facts before making yourself look the fool.
Under United States law, any person born within the United States (including the territories of Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and the Northern Mariana Islands) and subject to its jurisdiction is automatically granted U.S. citizenship,as are many (though not all) children born to American citizens overseas.
According to the Constitution of the United States only natural born citizens are eligible to serve as President of the United States or as Vice President. The text of the Constitution does not define what is meant by natural born: in particular it does not specify whether there is any distinction to be made between persons whose citizenship is based on jus sanguinis (parentage) and those whose citizenship is based on jus soli (birthplace).
The fact that Rubio lied or often embellished the story of his family's migration to the US, probably to gain the Latino vote, should "morally" make him ineligible to be VP. Rubio was born in the USA, his parents and brother arrived in US legally with visas, giving Rubio the right to VP or Pres. legally. I don't think I'd want someone who that dishonest to represent my country.

Marco Rubio was born in Miami which automatically makes him a U.S. Citizen and eligible for VP or POTUS.
His parents emigrated legally from Cuba in 1956, which doesn't even fit into the equation.
Yes, the tragedy of a fact killing a theory.

That's not really new, or different,,, Romney's dad wasn't born in this country, & he ran for President, McCain wasn't born in this country, & he ran for President... There's questions about Mitt... No ones seen his birth certificate... He dodged the draft, in the 60's, by living in France... The Republics have always been notorious, for blaming they're greatest weakness, on the Democrats... So its hard to say, if Romney was born in this country, or not... As for Rubio, he would just fall in place... The Republicans, at this point & time in history... Are like a little kid in school, that just cracked a fart... Pointing his/her finger, at anyone, & everyone else... As childish, as the strategy sounds, it actually works... Or at least some people, buy into it...

I guess you never heard of the Cuban Adjustment Act of 1966. All Cuban's in the country at that point were granted citizenship, so when Rubio was born his parents were legal citizens. But hey, don't let facts stop you. Keep spreading your lies since you can't stand up for your ideals in any other way.

actually, the Washington Post article I read said they came over on immigrant visas before Castro took over, so he was being critizied for pretending to be from a refugee family like most other Cubans in Florida. this means they had green cards, and I believe he was born in the US, so, like it or not, he is a natural born US citizen.

While everyone here (so far) is correct, some never seem to let the facts get in the way when discussing Obama, so I find it odd you are being chastised for "not sticking to facts".

i think of there should not be no amnesty for illegals, they might desire to be deported and that they might desire to take their little ones with them. whilst this little ones improve up it somewhat is as much as them again to the u . s . or stay in Mexico.
