What do you think of my favourite names?

In Russian, Anastasia is pronounced ah-nah-stah-see-ah... [not stay-see-ah, sorry<3... stay-zhah or stay pronounciation is English]

In Russia, Nastia/Nastya and Anya are more of the popular nicknames for it out of what's listed besides the common pet names that are given which can be just as long! lol

Anastasia [With the Russian pronunciation of ah-nah-stah-see-ah] is one of my favourites<3 So gorgeous<3

I love Aleksandra<3 Regardless of spelling it's always a very beautiful name<3

Callista isn't anything I'd name a child but it's definitely a "Guilty Pleasure" name for sure. It's very pretty.

Henry is handsome... I'm not really a fan of the name Edward [and no, I'm not saying that because of Twilight as the names came first!] and Jasper is okay. I definietly prefer Jasper over Edward but Henry is by far my favourite out of the boys names<3

Anastasia- love this...for a nickname, I'd probably do Ana or Stacy, but Ana's nice. Nastia might be problematic for a child in the US just because it looks like "nasty," but that's my only caution.

Aleksandra- I prefer the x over the k, but it's nice. It doesn't wow me though.

Callista- Callista Gingrich turned me off of this...for only about a week. It's quite a pretty name.

My favorite of your girl names would be Anastasia, but the other two certainly aren't bad.

Henry- lovely

Andrew- I feel about the same way about Andrew as Aleksandra. It's nice, but it doesn't wow me.

Edward- lovely, but I notice that you note that it's not because of Twilight. You're probably correct in assuming people will think you used it because of Twilight. I would either avoid it or (better still) have a ready answer for the question "Did you name him after Twilight?" (say you named him after a king or an Edward in literature...I'm blanking on good ones, but I know they're out there).

Jasper- this is probably the only name you mentioned that I do not like. I think of the henchman from 101 Dalmations. I do like the connection to your favorite gem though.

I personally would go with Henry.

All of your girls names are beautiful. For the boys, such great classic names! As a nickname for Anastasia I like either Stasia or Stasi!

Im not a fan of Anastasia, but the others I liked except for Henry, I might have read it wrong but it said that you liked it for girls? I like it more for boys. My favorite of your boy names are Andrew & Edward <3

anastasia (9/10) - i love this name so much! it's very uncommon yet beautiful <3

aleksandra (1/10) - i'm not fond of this name at all (alexandra), i feel like "x" in feminine names takes away from their femininity.

callista (6/10) - i've never heard this name before! very unique and pretty :)

henry (4/10) - i'm not too fond of this name haha

andrew (4/10) - too common

edward (4/10) - ehhh too plain!

jasper (6/10) - there you go! i like this name :)

nickname for anastasia - i would call her either "stacey" or "anna" :)

and also, you would give your girls such unique, beautiful names! don't cut your boys short! :)
