How long can cockatiel eggs and babies be unsat for?
My cockatiels Sunny and Snowball keep leaving the nest often to get food.. possibly for the babies? But how long can they be unsat for?

When feeding babies they will leave the nest frequently to feed themselves and get food for the babies as the chicks get older they will not feed them as frequently. sometimes they will leave them for 4-5 minutes but as they get older 6-10 minutes.sometimes longer.
Do you feed green veg such as Broccoli, to your birds while the are feeding chicks or soaked sprouting seed. Sweet corn cob, they require all of these to rear strong healthy chicks,

20 to 30 minutes, after that they eggs will get to cold and any embryos will doe off. The same thing with baby cockatiels, 20 to 30 minutes tops...before they they die from being cold.
