How to convert clipped sine to THD ( and vsvsa)?
A sine wave clipped at X% of the peak value represents what %THD? Given THD = (Pt-P1)/P1, how do you calculate P1 since the fundamental frequency amplitude of the clipped sine is not the same as the unclipped sine wave.

The expression you gave is for power. You need to do a Fourier transform on the voltage and then determine the power. It would be easier to determine THD based on voltage. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Total_harmonic_distor...
