I'm still dealing with the worst thing that ever happened to me and I'll tell you what it was once everyone who wants to has responded. Thanks.
The worst thing that ever happened to me was my wife being diagnosed with terminal cancer and the process of watching her die. As I said, I'm still dealing with that after a year and a half and I'm sure I'll never totally get past it. I'm not sure I really want to. The experience, as terrible as it was, is part of me now. One of the shortcomings of the Y!A format is the notion that there's always a "best" answer. Each of my responders helped me understand how they view their lives and is therefore worthy of a best answer. Under the circumstances I'm going to leave the best answer issue open and let whomever wishes vote for their choice. Thanks for everyone who responded. Regards.

My house burning down was pretty traumatic but I'd say my grandma hanging herself was a bit worse.

you need to give some more details but anyway the worst thing that happened to me was that i got into a trouble by no reason by my teacher so, my parents was mad at me..and for that i could not go to my friend's birthday party.
