getting rid of rabbits?

we live in Mississauga, ON. there is lot's of green areas around here, occasional squirel, skunk etc. but the recent issue are bunnies. lots of them...

yes those cute brown little critters. they are mowing everything we plant and now they even decided to live with us and chew on deck, sun room and everything in sight. had no idea they can be such a plague. what can i do to get rid of them? they are all cute hopping around cars etc but the damage and all the noise they make is finally making me draw a line - they have to go.

Update:

@Harrington87

watership down is fantasy, hopping monsters are real. I hope it does not get to hurting them but if that's the only way so be it.

@edfred1

ewww.... i want to get rig od rabbits, not putting urine around my home.

@Lynn

While this is an option, I am not looking to harm them, just send them away (far away, leave them somewhere in forest away from urban area). The thing is how to get them, fast...

@Affella,

If know how, I'd be happy to scare them off, forever. I want them gone. The last thing I want to do is turn my property into some sort of rabbit sanctuary with free buffet.

Update 2:

thank you all

    one way is to hire animal control, they will take care of them but it may take a while and cost $$$.

    trapping is one option, but it may take a while to catch them all. I'm not fan of poisoning, you never know what else may get to it first. the fastest option is just to shoot them (assuming this is permitted).

    Hassenfieffer (rabbit stew) and/or an entire border of marigold around your property. (They hate marigolds for some reason.)

    If neither of those do it for you, do some research on Australia's rabbit problem. Rabbits are an invasive species over there, with no natural enemies, so they've been fighting cute little Thumpers exponentially for over a century. Surely they have newer ideas since that fence crossing the continent didn't work.

    Don't try to scare them off. Get a chance to lure them away. Set a designated area for the rabbits. For example, plant a few plants they like in a certain area. Make sure that is the only easily accessible area. Chances are they'll become scenery instead of torture if they are kept in that area.

    You can use fox urine or some chicken wire to put out in ares you want. And there is always box traps you can use.
