Why does my scanner only scan parts of a document?
I have a HP Photosmart C4780 and when I try to scan documents, it scans only a part of the document. The printer didn't do this, but lately its been doing this. When I go to the settings and press scan it clearly shows a "live" view of the document scanning. It shows that it scans the document completely but saves as a file where it isn't possible to put onto the internet. I've been to my portfolio for college and it's not working which is really frustrating me.

If you want to display your scans on the internet, save them as jpg format, scan them at 100dpi. But you still will need to resize them so they are about 1000 to 1500 pixels across. Google "image resizer" and you will find some free programs to resize images.
