You shall reverence my sanctuary: Leviticus 26:2?
Is it o.k if we celebrate Valentine's Day or Mother's Day in the main sanctuary of the church? During these events, they will play and sing songs that are not gospel related. I know from Leviticus 26:2, God requires christians to reverence God's sanctuary. What are your thought on this? Thank you in advance.

Are Christians under the obligation to keep a weekly rest day?
Éxo. 31:16, 17: "The sons of Israel have to keep the Sabbath, to carry out on Saturday for their generations." It is a Pact to indefinite ["perpetual Covenant", VV (1977)]. "Between me and the sons of Israel is a signal to time indefinite." (Note that the observance of the Sabbath was a sign between Jehovah and Israel; it wouldn't be such a sign if all other persons were also under an obligation to keep the Sabbath.) The Hebrew word that is poured "perpetual" in VV is ' oh·lam′, which basically means a period which, from the point of view of the present is undefined or is hidden in sight, but communicates the idea of long duration. This may mean forever, although not necessarily. In numbers 25: 13, the same Hebrew word is applied to the priesthood, which subsequently took end, as shows it Hebrews 7: 12)
ROM. 10: 4: "Christ is the end of the law, so that everyone who has faith have justice." (Keep the Sabbath was part of that law.) God used Christ to put an end to that law. (Have a position or condition of Justice before God depends of faith in Christ, rather than keep a weekly rest day). (See also Galatians 4: 9-11 and Ephesians 2: 13-16)
Col. 2: 13-16: "[God] bondadosamente forgave us all our offenses and deleted document manuscript against us, which consisted of decrees and was in opposition to us [...]" "Therefore anyone judged them in eating and drinking, or with respect to a party, or a new moon or a Sabbath observance." (If someone was under the law of Moses and him was guilty of desecrating the Sabbath, the Congregation had to kill him stoned, according to exodus 31: 14 and numbers 15: 32-35) Many who favor the observation of the Sabbath can rejoice that we are not under the law. (As shown in the text quoted here, enjoy an approved position before God already not requires the observance of the Sabbath requirement given to Israel.)

God does not dwell in temples made with
human hands. People who say that a
building is holy are just trying to pay the
mortgage and utilities - with a liitle left
over.
God is spirit and lives within people whether
or not this is acknowledged.
This is the kind of answer that gets thumbs
down from both atheists and Christians,
because so many of us are so busy being
"right" that we forego respect for each other.
