Are there any Amish friendship bread recipes that are not quick breads?

I just received a bunch of Amish friendship bread starter and was wondering if anyone had any recipes for true yeast breads for the starter. All the recipes I have ever found were for quick breads and I don't know why you need a yeast starter for a quick bread. Do you suppose a sourdough bread would work using the friendship bread starter or is it too sweet?

Most breads don't really take a terribly long time to put together once you get past adding the yeast, waiting for it to rise and kneading the bread. In this case you have a starter to don't have so bother with the rest. It is called Friendship bread because the starter gets passed to friends. The starter actually takes 10 days to be ready to use. I do think this starter might be a bit sweet for sourdough bread.

You will find a number of Amish Friendship Bread recipes here but they are all quick type breads.
