OK..First stop freaking out because it's just going be a little pinch and you will be done. It doesn't hurt because they tie your hands above and bellow where they are going to draw blood from...so you won;t feel any thing. And to distract your self just look around you and I would think about what you want to do this summer and some happy thoughts.

You'll feel a pinch during the blood test. Honestly, how badly it hurts depends on the skill of the person drawing the sample. I've had some done where I've felt nothing, and others that have been quite uncomfortable. Either way, it really only lasts 90 seconds or so, so it isn't that big of a deal. What else they'll do at the doctors depends on what you're going in for.

Make sure the artist knows what they're doing. You don't want your blood to be drawn badly.

Kidding.. haha. I wish I could get blood drawn and tested, I love that stuff. Well, minus the pain. But it isn't that much. I had to get IV needles in my arm when I was in the hospital with appendicitis, and I was in first grade. So you can do it.

If i have to endure pain, I bite my lip and/or squeeze my eyes shut. I think it's just a psychological thing that distracts you and helps. You could also try repeatedly thinking of a word or just force yourself to think of other things while they insert the needle. Good luck :)

It doesn't hurt that bad. My mom tells me to look away but I always look. Good luck!!!
