Emirati boyfriend gets angry and won't talk to me.?

When I tried calling or texting him, he tells me that he will call me if he wants me. I am terribly hurt by this, as I am not really even sure what he is mad about. My friend says that her Emirati husband does this all the time: gets mad, goes away a few days, and then comes back. Is this true? Is this a cultural thing? I think that if he loves me, he will contact me, but for how long must one wait?

Thanks, guys, for your input. Time to find someone kind. Not easy, by the way, but I would be stupid not to.

    If you are still with the same guy you mentioned in your post 3 months ago (http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AvFip... I am wondering why you still with him.

    Stop calling after a man and please stop running when he calls. You are no puppy. Best you could do is to end this affair where you only suffer from. Other mothers have nice sons also:)

    If your friend lets her husband gets away with his behavior, oh well. I won't.

    Just being curious: why do you always mention that you have an Emirati boyfriend? Your "problems" aren't culture related and are known internationally. It's just a matter of personalities and how you deal with certain situations.

    End this relationship, for the future one, tie your relationship with the bless of both families, especially with his parents

    He'll call you when he wants you? You're not a toy for him to play with when he's ready for you. You are his partner and should be treated as such. Leave him and find someone who treats you the way you deserve.
