I love photography and I take pictures with my camera? Is that a sin?

Can someone draw a picture on a paper?

Can someone Make a model/statue of something?

I'm asking about both living and non-living things!

Photo's are perfectly OK [as long as they are decent] , you are only recording what has been created

As for drawing ,, we should not draw things with eyes

    but potato's are ok.

No it's not a sin. Yes you can draw a picture on a paper and yes you can make a model/statue. It's only not allowed if you're going to end up worshiping it or something but I doubt that.

Taking pictures of animate objects(humans, animals) is Haraam and a sin.

Pictures of scenery, buildings, etc is permissible.

    Drawing animals is haraam.

You can draw humans so long as you don't draw the eyes.

you cannot make a model statue of animate objects!

No, that is not a sin. Creating art is not sinful. Now if you start to use your photographs are idols and worship them then that is a sin.

But don't worry about photographing, it's not sinful! I love Jesus :) and photography is among my favorite hobbies! Go out and have fun, you're not doing anything wrong! :D

No issue :) All of them have no religious significance whatsoever. These sect driven beliefs are all part of the "stickiness factor" so vital to the survival of illegal sects in Islam. BTW all sects are illegal in Islam, especially the one that claim to be the only true sect which unsurprisingly all of them do :)

Have a look below to get a sense of the origin of this particular innovation.

Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth: Deuteronomy 5:8

Those who quote Quran 30:30 to support it needs their heads examined and focus on the meaning of "Fitrah"

Drawing a picture for fun is haraam. But drawing to make someone study something like in Biology subjects, we have certain things to study like Eyes, Nose, Tongue and their work etc.

Making Statue and Models creates a Fitnah of Idol worship.

And yes! You can take your pictures because you aren't drawing it but it's your own mirror reflection.

    Wallahu a'alam!

If you look deep enough into Christian religion and the bible almost everything is a sin.

But f you look deep within yourself and know that the action is harmless, beautiful, artistic and has no negative doings then it is not a sin.

    Damn that was poetic lol

No not a sin, unless for obvious reasons.

    Yes I can do all

Now that you've been compelled to pose such a question like this. Hope you now realize how harmful religion can be when it comes to having ambitions and aspirations.
