I just got bitten by a Goat?
I was walking through a field and a medium Goat ran at me and bit me on the hand. maybe it had some baby Goats hidden in the grass somewhere. I did bleed some but not alot as it did not chew through a vein. Can I get smallpox or something like that and should I try to capture the Goat and take it to a vet for testing. Thanks so much, my hand hurts, Mike

Chill, its a goat. Living on a farm I get bitten by various animals every day. Just be sure to wash off your hand, put some peroxide on it, and put a band-aid on it. If you have it neosporin might be a good idea. You'll be just fine.

I would head for the nearest emergency room to get checked out. Seriously! Don't worry about the goat, take care of yourself.
