How can RNC win over latinos with its immigration stance?
If your anwser is pro-RNC, how is that Obama took as much of the latino vote as he did in 2008.

They can't.
We are quite aware of how they've felt about communities. And nothing they can do now will change our opinion of them.
We won't ever forget how they coined the phrase "anchor baby."

The reason Obama took a lot of the Latino vote (66%) was because of who he was running against (he took almost half of the Non-Hispanc White vote also), John McCain was a terrible selection for President, but he was thrown in there to lose (as punishment for G.W.'s regime).
The Republican party is Tea Party/Conservatives vs. Moderates; the best thing that happened was that a moderate won, which makes it "possible" that Romney can win. However, if J-Bush from Florida runs in 2016, he will for sure get the majority of latino votes. The reason why the Latinos are swing voters is because they are "moderates" at heart, AND another important reason is that Blacks & Hispanics have growing dislike for one another...

I can only speak for myself on this matter...you are quite right to phrase your question as immigration instead of just illegal immigration. The fact is that States like Arizona and the others who support their law like Mitt Romney has not curbed or made any comment to the fact that some of his supporters treat Hispanics like dirt whether or not the know their immigration status or not.
This is the reason why I will NOT be voting for the GOP.

Because the Latinos that came here legally will support the RNC. It's only criminals that don't want the government to crack down on illegal immigration.

Illegal immigration adversely affects Latino citizens just as it does everyone else. Latino citizens need to decide if they are Americans or something else

Plenty of LEGAL Hispanics want strict enforcement of our immigration laws, and are against amnesty of any kind. So in that regard, the RNC already has our support.
Many of us came here LEGALLY, pay our taxes and even served this country, and it p*isses us off that too many are getting away with being here ILLEGALLY.
