My apartment... (more infor below PLEASE ANSWER)?
Ok so my mom is going to be staying with me til July 28th.. anyway there's an area for resident parking & visitors parking... Well, i called the office to see what I would have to do to have a guest stay longer then the 2 weeks mentioned in the leasees handbook... All he asked was for my moms license plate number so her vehicle won't get towed (so she can park in residents are I'm assuming cause that's the only time they tow vehicles) I've always paid rent on time and am a very quiet person... Meaning no complaints. Do you think this is odd? Or they're just happy I was upfront about it? It just makes me a tad nervous as I can't lose my place... I live on very little income and can't afford to move...
Or does it just sound like they could care less as long as I pay rent?

Nobody can answer this question other than your apartment manager. If there's a parking issue & overcrowding then yes maybe you misunderstood & it could be a problem if she parks in the resident parking. If there isn't a parking problem then maybe they don't care. In any case, you need to call them & ask specifically where she is allowed to park & get the name of the person you speak with. When I worked in property management we gave visitors a specific parking pass.
