What does Mitt Romney have against Planned Parenthood?

He thinks that it should be funded privately, not by the taxpayers.

'PoBoy', you completely miss the point. Birth control is readily available either free or cheap. Access is not the problem.

Why should we who pay taxes pay for somebody else to get an abortion? I'm perfectly fine with donations to come in but to make it MANDATORY that our money go to Planned Parenthood is just wrong. Besides, since when were they a government agency?

We should not be funding abortions with our tax monies, and having seniors starve, those monies could go to help the seniors.

If the kids were educated properly in the homes, then abortions wouldn't be needed. That's all Mr. Romney is trying to say, and I, for one, am in full agreement with the man.

His base hates any and ALL social programs. HE will ally himself with ANYONE and ANY issue that MIGHT get him elected. What everyone who answers negativly about this issue doesn't realize is that planned parenthood also provides breast tests for cancer for women and pap tests,all which might SAVE many lives and keep the POOR women who will GET cancer without pre-screenings from eventually having to end their lives prematurally, and winding up having tax payers pay huge end of life costs needlessly.. But then again, the right hates ALL social programs, and THAT includes Romney also. After all, his words, "I don't really worry about poor people, they have programs in place for them!" Of course ,,if elected, HE will work to eliminate those programs !! His words !! Check it out !!

I agree with Mitt. If people want to murder their babies, they can do it on their own dime. Obviously Mitt Romney has a moral compass, and Obama doesn't.

Why should taxpayers be forced to give public tax dollars to a for profit organization (despite their fraudulent claims) that gets enough willing donations to operate on, operate outside the law, use undocumented doctors or none at all, selectively kills girl babies, and then sells the aborted fetuses? What's no to like?

Because it's a publicly funded entity that provides abortion services which most religious and conservative people find morally reprehensible. It's his right and mine.
