Spanish Football Section: Mario Gomez vs RVP?
I think people underrate Gomez. Specially in the football section in Y! Answers, and the spanish section in particular. I think he's about the same level as RVP. Though he's younger. He's been the best player at the Euros so far IMO.
FQ: Khadira vs Schweinsteiger
Madridistas, dont be arrogant and baised please. Seriously, I Feel like an idiot asking this, its like a joke, but lately, Madridistas have been back to their arrogance. I heard them say Khedira is better! Are you kidding me? I know you obviously mean ATM, so I wont go into the super obvious detail of history, but I think both for club and country, Bastian any day.

RVP had a breakthrough season domestically but in the bigger competitions I have yet to see him perform on a world class level. Gomez seems to be a better finisher and is producing the goods in all tournaments.
Schweinsteiger to me is the better player but it was interesting seeing him come off the bench for quite a few of the Bayern games towards the end of the season. This German unit is a real force. Their system works amazingly well and I foresee them winning the Euro over Spain.

Mario Gomez. Why? A tap-in in a big game is better than a wonder goal in a comfortable win.
FQ: There different type of players, however, Schweinsteiger is better. Khedira is one the best DM at the moment.

Mario Gomez is much better than RVP. RVP is a flop in the Champions League and in international competitions like the World Cup and the Euro.

Robin Van Persie is in a league of his own when compared to Mario Gomez because he is by FAR better. Gomez is merely a goal poacher - nothing more. He is in the mold of players like Ruud Van Nistelrooy who was exceptional within the area but surplus to requirements in every other department. The only attribute you could argue Gomez is superior at is: finishing. Otherwise, Van Persie is clearly superior in every way. His technique, finesse and dribbling qualities just exude class and excellence on the pitch.
In contrast, Gomez lacks competence with the ball at his feet and would struggle to impose himself on a game if his team were unable to feed him the ball to tap-in. Overall, I would much rather have Van Persie in my team because he is much more versatile and can be deployed in numerous different tactical set-ups and formations and can actually affect the game in other ways apart from scoring....
BQ: They are different types of players. Shweinsteiger is more dynamic and can be implemented as a box-box midfielder who can have great influence on attacking play whilst also helping out defensively as well. He is better at shooting, crossing and passing in my book as well as being more versatile. They are both different players but judging by the variation in play of Shweinsteiger and his experience: I'd say he is more valuable to a team in my honest opinion.
