Appeal I appealled against a decision to deduct 10 points from me that was 3 month ago?

what is the worry we all suffer these problems, it is life just live with it some child got upset and so reported your answer. well as there is only people who ask questions and some are not of a legal age to be asking them like a 8 year old who has no idea of what the world is really all about but can still sit at a keyboard and type.

so you will get a violation notice every now and again you have to be a real pest before they actually ban you on here. so with some many strange people on this planet you can't possibly get it right all the time just except some have issues or are just plain grumpy sometimes even when faced with the truth of a situation. like now you could report me for telling how it is.

this is just life and people with some real mental problems as well as sane people. we all have to live together how we have done it with out blowing ourselves up is something of a miracle really given the stupidity of some.

You are NOT the only one who has had appeals in for three months that have not been replied to. The deduction of the 10 points IS AUTOMATIC, because it is triggered by some one reporting your question/answer when they submit the abuse report. That triggers an automatic computer program that takes the 10 points off your account. The appeals are BACKED UP, and now community moderation has broken down again, so that EVERYTHING is not working like it should. I won two appeals and lost three appeals,but I did not NOT have another 10 points taken off my point total for each of the 3 lost appeals. Those appeals were 2 to three months old. A week I after got those emails, CM broke down. There is a thread on the main Suggestion Board about the problem. To get to the main suggestion board (there's more than one), click the "About" tab, then select "Suggestion board from the drop down menu.

i tend not to get bothered by appeals coz most if not all the time , i never quite understand why i got the violation in the first place and its only 10 points which i can easily gain back by answering more questions !

if you appeal and loose , thats yet another 10 points and this is time i figure i coulda used wisely in doing something else , maybe helping someone else who wont be so small minded as to report me when i had no ill intentions in the first place !

its life or reality just like waiting on customers in any establishment and youre lying to youreself if you imagine that all will like you no matter how nice and pleasant you are coz some wonna get free items , some wonna use you and get mad when you dont fall for their schemes and gimmicks !

dont let these minor things stop you or hinder you from continuing to answer questions and helping those out there , as you make youre way to level 7 and beyond ! " the skies the limit ! "

You need to contact the Answers team direct on y_answrs_team@yahoo.com The e is left out. They send you an appeal form that is valid. When I did a few months ago they replied in 6 hours and restored my answer while the answer was still open..I also got an apology and an assurance the person/s who reported would lose influence in future. Other times they have said it was a violation and would not restore it.

It's a computer program. I think you'll find that most of the decisions are made by computer. Yahoo's not going to throw a lot of money or people at Answers, it's more of a community thing.
