Newbie, trying to learn some programing?

I need to create few new variables for SDKv7.1 environment, on Command prompt, where in my Keyboard I can find Separator key which looks much like an I ? or it's I a separator?, such a sign might be call also pipe line?

    It's the key above the 'Enter' key with '\' and '|' symbol

    Press the SHIFT key, then the '\' key

    separators are like -,(),+,or,&./.\.| press Shift then \ :)
